Caribbean Air Show 2011
Gran Show Aereo del Caribe
The show, presented by Presidente Cerveza,is to celebrate 100 years of aviation of Dominican Republic. The air show can be seen above the city of Santo Domingo. There will be acrobats and aircraft pilots from several countries participating in this air spectacular.
The Twilight Show on Sunday will have several aerobatic teams, with lights and smoke and there will be a fireworks display. There will be live bands, food and drink sales and more activities and fun.
The show will be held along the Malecon between the Ave. Maximo Gomez and Abraham Lincoln in Santo Domingo on Saturday March 26, 2011 at 1PM and Sunday March 27 at 7PM. Make sure to take your camera!

ChuChu Colonial

The newest tour in the Colonial Zone is the ChuChu Colonial. You cab see this 5.32 meter train that can accommodate 64 people cruising the streets of the Colonial city. said Nathaniel Jakouloff, general manager of the project.
The tours start at 9:00 am on Calle Isabel La Católica and ends at 5:00 pm in the same place. Each has a duration of 35 minutes.
The tour includes more than 30 historical sites from the colonial area (more information on all the sights of Colonial Zone). Each tour lasts 35 minutes. At the time of this posting the costs are: Foreign tourists - $12 US Dollars. Dominicans $250 Dominican pesos for adults and $150 Dominican pesos for children under 12.Nathaniel Jakouloff, general manager of the project.
